Built in 1952, this roadway bridge supports the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (MD 295) over one railroad track. Since the bridge carries interstate traffic, it is not feasible to raise the vehicular bridge to accommodate the vertical clearance; therefore the tracks will be lowered 3 inches to achieve the minimum vertical clearance requirement.
